Hi out there. This is our very own blog spot to keep everyone up to date on Madison Cares' first trip since forming our National & International Initiatives group. We are so excited about this opportunity to help Slidell, Louisiana - an area that was devastated by Hurricane Katrina - and are thankful for the many volunteers on this "maiden voyage!"
Trip dates are Sunday, October 21st through Friday, October 26th...with work beginning on Monday, October 22nd.
Check back frequently to follow along with the team, their daily work & feedback, and pictures of the build progress.
